Where to stay, by distance from Shriji
Shri Radha Rani temple, called Shriji here, sits on top of the hill, up more than 200 steps or by ropeway. The closer you sleep, the less you walk at 5 in the morning. The further out, the easier the parking.

Cars are stopped outside town on the big days. Sleep in Barsana and you walk to Rangeeli Gali instead of walking in from wherever the cars stop.

Yes, at many places on the Nandgaon, Govardhan and Chhata roads and near Kirti Mandir. Cars cannot get into the lanes below the temple steps.
